Internet Outage – Broadband – (24/07/2024)

We are aware of a DNS issue affecting broadband customers as at 13:45pm. This is being worked on and we will provide further updates.

Update – 15:50

• We are now seeing load over DNS servers to be stable
• Please retest your service

Update – 14:50

• A power outage at Manchester Serverbank DC has been confirmed as the root cause of the current issues
• Power has been restored and currently remains stable
• Residual issues with services running through Serverbank are being experienced, predominantly DNS
• DNS servers are seeing a high impact
• Engineers are currently still working through the DNS issues
• Workarounds are being explored to alleviate the impact
